 Our mission at HTEEC is to provide an environment that supports each child’s intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. Our center has a cooperative teaching dynamic that lends itself to working within your scheduling needs while always putting the children's best interests first. As part of the cooperative teaching team, you would collaborate with co-teachers on lesson plans, classroom management, and communication with parents. We serve families Monday-Friday, 7:00-4:30 pm, and have various shift options within that time frame. 

Expectations:

• Provide safe and nurturing environments for all children

• Plan, improvise and execute developmentally-appropriate play-based lesson plans

• Respectfully and professionally communicate and collaborate with co-teachers, parents, and administration 

• Be reliable on your schedule commitments 

• Mindfully and purposefully prioritize the child’s best interests 

• Patiently and kindly attend to daily activities and care requirements of children 

Full-Time Teaching Position Requirements:

• Previous experience working in licensed childcare 

• Highschool diploma 

• Continued education in early childhood or a related field is preferred 

• At least 18 years of age 

• Willing to participate in VIRTUS training, required health & safety training, obtain CPR and First Aid certification, and pass a TB test & background check..

Part-Time Teaching Position Requirements:

• Previous experience working in licensed childcare or with preschool-aged children. 

• Holds a high school diploma 

• Continued education in early childhood or a related field is preferred

• At least 18 years of age

• Willing to participate in VIRTUS training, required health & safety training, obtain CPR and First Aid certification, and pass a TB test & background check.

Pay: $17-20/hr. Dependent on education and experience. Benefits offered to full-time employees.
