Inspired by the Creative Curriculum pictured here, students at HTEEC are presented with daily play-based activities that align with their strengths, needs and interests.

Lessons based on the framework balance child-initiated and teacher-guided learning in a variety of content areas including
- Literacy
- Math
- Science
- Social Studies
- Fine Arts
- Music & Movement

We also use principles of the
Handwriting Without Tears program in our Pre-K classrooms to help children develop skills necessary for handwriting.
It is a hands-on approach that is play-based, allowing children to develop fine-motor and learning skills at a pace that's age appropriate.
