Father John Pilcher

Fr. John Pilcher joined Holy Trinity Parish in January 2024. A native of Shawnee, Kansas, he attended St. Joseph Grade School and High School. Prior to entering seminary, he worked as a route salesman for Wonder Bread, which was an experience he humorously contrasts with his current vocation of sharing the Bread of Life. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1999.

Over the years, Fr. John has served as the pastor or the associate pastor at the St. Lawrence Center, the Cathedral of St. Peter in Kansas City, Kansas, and parishes in Wamego, Alma, Paxico, and Topeka.

Before his assignment to Holy Trinity, he completed a six-month sabbatical that included two months in Italy and a short pilgrimage to Egypt.

Fr. John looks forward to continuing his ministry of service to the Holy Trinity community and to helping parishioners grow in faith and discipleship.
