Who is elibigle for the faith formation programs? All registered families of Holy Trinity Parish.
What programs are available? In addition to Holy Trinity School, we offer several options of faith formation for all children in the parish.
For families of children up to 6th grade there is -Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) -Growing in Faith Together (GIFT) -Family Home Study Students in 7th & 8th grade can attend the CGS program called -Journey Continues and 7th, 8th & 9th graders are invited to attend our -Junior High Ministry
When do I register?
For CGS, including Journey Continues,registration is available starting in May until early September. Please watch the Bulletin and the parish website for announcements. CGS classes fill quickly. Families are notified of class placement and specific starting dates.
For GIFT and Family Home Study, registration can be done anytime online or in the parish office. Again, watch the bulletin and website for announcements when registrations are being accepted, usually beginning in June. The sooner your form is returned, the easier for us to prepare! Emails will be sent to notify you of specific parent meetings and starting dates.
How do I register? 0nline registration is available, and payment is made via Venmo or WeShare. Registration forms may be also downloaded or print copies found in the parish office, the church lobby, or atrium. Completed printed forms should be returned along with payment to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9150 Pflumm, Lenexa, KS 66215. The appropriate fee for each program is listed on each registration form.
What about sacraments? Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation each have a focused time of preparation in addition toregular religious formation programs. All programs are appropriate for those receiving sacraments. Indicate on the registration form which sacraments you would like your child or adolescent to prepare/receive. Completing the on line form for sacraments is also helpful - see the web page for the individual sacrament.
What can I do to help? On the registration form are several specific opportunities available for anyone wishing to assist us.
How much will this cost? What if I can’t pay? The costs for participation in these programs is listed on each of the appropriate webpages. The opportunity for continued faith formation is offered to all families and individuals regardless of their ability to pay. Please contact us by phone if our fees are a hardship for your family.
